HISTORY

The origins of KERSTEN Elektrostatik GmbH go back to the company's foundation in 1971 by Walter Kersten and Dieter Fuchs, two friends and colleagues.
The business fundament was the production of devices in order to eliminate unwanted electrostatic charges as well as the steady increase of our clients productivity.
In the following years, the company evolved from a craft enterprise with only 3 employees to a modern and internationally operating industrial company.
In 1977, the business was converted into the "Fuchs & Kersten GmbH". After the retirement of Mr. Fuchs in 1988, the company underwent yet another change in 1990 into today´s "KERSTEN Elektrostatik GmbH.
In 2001, Mr. Kersten had to retire due to his poor health and since then, his daughter Heike Kersten took over the operating leadership of KERSTEN Elektrostatik GmbH.
Since Mai 2012 Heike Kersten, as Managing Shareholder, leads the company together with Tobias Bobka, Managing Director and also authorized to solely represent.
KERSTEN offers today custom-made system solutions for electrostatic charging and discharging. Due to their experience and know-how of more than 40 years in the business, KERSTEN became an internationally sought partner in many industrials branches.
